It’s Thursday and time for a new five-word challenge. Last week, I wanted you to stay HOME. This week, I want you to feel PROUD. So can you tell a story in five words, using the word PROUD in it somewhere?

Be modest. Proud, not loud.
Fab. Thank you so much!
The modesty thing is a very Australian point of view. We have something here called ‘the tall poppy syndrome’ which refers to the idea that if any poppy sticks it’s head up above the crowd it is in danger of being lopped off. It’s not that we are especially modest … we just value our heads.
Too proud to take charity,
The proud and the ignorant.
Proud father shows off quins!
Mother was very house proud.

A ‘proud’ of performing peacocks.
Great. Thank you, Jacqui 🙂
I was trying to steer clear of current events although I could have written plenty on some wonderful things the NHS and others are doing especially the 99-year old Major.
Proud performing peacocks peck prize.
Never good, being too proud.
Proud of homeschooling parents persisting
Captain Tom should be proud!
Proud parents celebrate children’s success.

These are really good, Ritu. And very apt!
My brain seems to only want to write current things!!
It’s all a little bit weird, isn’t it?!
Very strange…
Out and proud; my son…
Thanks, Val 🙂
