I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. Did any of you make a New Year’s Resolution? I’d love to know if you did and what it is if so. Or if you’d prefer, make it up, in the form of a limerick, poem, short story or article. So my challenge for you this week is a continuation of last week’s:
New Year Resolutions

Loved your challenge haiku π
Don’t think I can beat your list!
Love it.
My New Year’s Resolution is…. to have no New Year’s Resolution! π
That has been my New Year’s resolution for as long as I can remember.
And it works!
I don’t blame you!

Hi Esther, happy new year to you, I hope you had a great Christmas! It looks like your resolutions are off to a flying start! π
As for me I don’t make resolutions as I think they’re rather silly.
Keeping up with it all makes me feel rather illy (you see what I did there? π )
I’m now trying to think of something funny to say to keep a little rhyme going… but I can’t π
Happy New Year! Like the attempt at the rhyme too!! π
Yes it was just an attempt… π

Thank you for the challenge; I just posted ‘My New Year Resolution’ limerick on Simplicity Lane:
https://simplicitylane.wordpress.com/2019/01/04/my-new-year-resolution-limerick/
I don’t make resolutions,
I find it’s best all round
It makes for fewer confusions
when I break my word, I’ve found.
It may be a big tradition,
but I find I feel more free,
if rather than vow to change my ways,
I just go on being me.
π
Happy New Year Esther, I hope it’s a good one.
Thank you so much, Kristian. You too π
