If you’re feeling the after effects of Christmas and feeling a little low, here’s a silly poem to cheer you:
Who am I?
I’m not a creature who is loved the best,
In fact, most say I’m an awful pest,
It’s not my fault, I don’t mean to be,
Nature made me as I am, you see,
I love cats and dogs the most,
You humans aren’t the best hosts,
I like to flip and flap and jump around,
I can’t stand being still on the ground,
I suppose I can’t change your mind,
Though please be gentle to me and kind,
I am who I am, that’s me,
A most fanciful and friendly flea.
Hats off for seeing things from the viewpoint of a true underdog – or is it onthedog?
Ha! I like it 🙂
Very nice, cheering and full of character
Wow..good poem. How did you know all that about me? ;-))
